It all started dall'Eicma 2009, when BMW's stand brought a strange, futuristic and beautiful naked-based K-series engine and equipped with a 6-cylinder compact appearance, the cubic volume of 1.6 liters. It was easy to imagine that the project could not be limited to exercise in style and this is the first spy photos of the bike that is likely to use for the first time the 6-in-line. Will obviously be a K series, dedicated to plurifrazionati Bavarian theme, with the cubic which joins the suffix LT to identify the willingness to travel more pure K1600LT. The spy photos, taken by German Tourenfahrer.de, shows a curious tourist (we do not understand whether it is derived from 1200LT or 1300GT) with a brand new dome and anterior bellies of the lateral air vents with style Kawasaki ZZR1400. The 6-cylinder version was presented Eicma 130nm already capable of 2000 rpm with a torque curve progression up to 9000 rpm. Such an engine would be particularly suited to a mangiachilometri as the most tourism in the series. We must see how these will be complied with weights and lateral dimensions, that all things in motion by high wind protection, will not be a problem to manage.
