Ford presents the show in Chicago the new range of 2011 Edge crossover. The model, created in 2006 and sold over 330,000 copies, was until now only available with a V6 3.5 petrol engine 285 hp, while the new range adds the 3.7-liter Ti-VCT 305 hp and above the 4 GB F 2-liter EcoBoost from 203 hp, designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions without sacrificing performance, which will arrive in Europe on Mondeo, S-Max, Galaxy and perhaps even the rumored hybrid Focus RS.
The 2011 Ford Edge has changed aesthetically, with a new front end that integrates the LED daytime running lights, and the Sport version is characterized by the alloy wheels 22 "front grille and black. Inside, the dashboard has been redesigned and now houses the instrumentation and digital multimedia system MyFordTouch; improvements are expected also in the colors and materials chosen for the interior.
