Only person comparing it to the bentley. they are in two different price range. if you have to compare, the bentley is porky. this pininfarina designed cabriolet is sleek. Awesome hand built italian masterpiece. This car is the most bang for the buck. A Ferrari at half the price and it is fast enough, especially for a touring car. The Maserati GranCabrio is the automaker's first-ever four-seat convertible, and serves as the third model in the company's current lineup. The car uses a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces up to 433 horsepower, when used in Sport mode. Top speed and sprint times were not listed. With the big, oval grille, the car is quite clearly a Maserati. Adding to the traditional brand appeal is the canvas roof, which is triple-layered, and retracts in 28 seconds. The roof can be opened when traveling as fast as 30 km/h.Maserati is also trying to sell the public on the car's stiffness. They claim that the vehicle has "the best possible performance in terms of structural rigidity," even when taking the long wheelbase and no overhead frame into account. The automaker is also pleased with the extensive use of aluminum throughout the vehicle's construction. This includes the flat aluminum base that helps reduce the drag coefficient while adding another level of rigidity.Passenger enjoyment was a serious concern in the development of the GranCabrio, which is why the automaker opted to use four individual seats, instead of putting a bench seat at the back. Add to that the dual-zone climate control, Bose audio system, and Maserati's in-house developed Skyhook suspension system.
