The Volkswagen New Compact Coupe Concept car has revealed at 2010 NAIAS in Detroit. Attendees a sneak peak at what the potential has in amass for the Jetta mkVI.
The NCC (New Compact Coupe) Concept comes with VW’s 1.4 liter TSI engine, a turbocharged 4-cylinder dialed up to 150 hp and 220 Nm of torque (177 lb-ft), coupled to a 7-speed DSG gearbox (a dual-clutch sequential transmission), as well as an electric motor with 20 kW/27 hp. Powering by a lithium-ion sequence bunch, the exciting motor is able to thrust the car on its own, which allows the vehicle to be classified as an occupied-fusion. The NCC is 4.54 m (178.5 inches) long, 1.78 m (70.1 inches) varied and 1.41 m tall. Fitting with 19-crawl “Lugano” alloy wheels, the NCC comes refined with a Grigio Quartz (grey quartz) and Berry White leather interior.
Nevertheless the sincere rumor is the car’s styling, which brings back parade headlights while ditching the Jetta mkV’s ornate chrome skin. The two-door car reportedly has a roofline that is indistinguishable from the next-gen vehicle.
To be built in Mexico the Jetta mkVI will have its media release in June with the market launch in the thrid section of this year. It could get petrol 2.0-liter sincerely aspirated or turbocharged four-bangers, and a TDI. North American origin price could be as low as $17k.
