The 2010 Aveo5 is a 4-door, 5-passenger wagon, available in 3 trims, ranging from the LS to the 2LT. Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 1.6-liter, I4, 108-horsepower engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 34-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. Overall, this a a good car with decent gas milage. The trunk has alot to be desired but what do you expect from an economy car. The gas milage is somewhat good at about 33 mpg (mostly hwy) but for the size and weight of this car and with its 1.4 L, it should be able to get at least 36 or above avg hwy. One thing I forgot to mention in Pros is that you can get this car without power door locks, windows, seats and mirrors. That means if something breaks down after warranty is out, most people with a decent head on their shoulders can fix most mechanical item without a computer!!! Car has very little get up an go and I think its get up and go must have got up and went. But again, concedering the engine size, I completely understand. Overall, if you are looking for a dependable car with decent gas milage and decent ride, this could win most people over and is very inexpensive considering you can get up to a possible $4500 trade in allowance for your clunker of a vehicle. Have Fun!!!

2010 2011 Cadillac CTS-V 6.2L SFI Reviews
Almost without fault, the new CTS-V is one of the best performance sedans in the world. In the not-to-distant past, you would look to the Germans to find a brilliant performance sedan, but now with the CTS-V in production, the game has changed. The M5 has 56 less horsepwer and it's $25k more expensive than the CTS-V. The Audi S6 has 121 less horsepower and it's $11k more expensive. Now the Mercedes E63 AMG is just as quick as the CTS-V, but it's almost $30k more expensive.$60k may seem expensive to you, but to have a 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds, a top speed of 195 mph, and 556 horsepower under the hood, that's what I call a bargain in the world of performance
Pros
Amazingly quick, solid handling, extreme horsepower, muscular looks
Cons
A little thirsty at the pump, not as serious as its competitors

the new car is altogether different. You can cruise casually around town in Cadillac style if you want, but when the opportunity and/or desire hits you, 556 hp kicks you in the backside, with handling and refinement to boot.
2010 2011 New Cadillac DTS Premium Review and Specification
The 2010 DTS is a 4-door, up to 6-passenger luxury sedan, available in 4 trims, ranging from the V8 to the Platinum. Upon introduction, the V8 is equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 275-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. The Platinum is equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 292-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. With a base price of around $47,000, it's not a competitor for similar sedans from Germany or Japan at all. Instead, the few cross-shoppers who look elsewhere probably will study the Lincoln Town Car and the Chrysler 300.In keeping with its conservative shape and its old-school seating, the 2010 DTS appeals to buyers who want a large, cushy sedan. The look is formal, but it does wear some of the cues of more recent Cadillacs-like the enormous grille and wreath-and-crest badge. It's angular and not aero-looking in the least, and though it's still reasonably handsome, the DTS is beginning to appear dated. TheCarConnection.com expects the replacement for the DTS-the 2013 XTS-to look significantly more rounded, like Cadillac's Sixteen concept car. Inside the 2010 DTS, the cabin seems fairly modern to the eyes and to the touch. Big gauges are framed by a wood-trimmed steering wheel in some editions, and there's wood trim across the dash and door panels. The tall center stack of controls sports a big touch-screen LCD for navigation and audio functions. Touches of metallic trim glint around the cabin, and in all, the DTS' cabin is distinctly more tasteful than you might expect in the class. The 4,000-pound DTS is front-wheel-driven and offers a choice of closely related V-8 engines. There's a 275-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8 or a 292-horsepower version of the same engine, and both come with an outdated four-speed automatic. They limp along with lower fuel economy as a result; the base version gets 15/23 mpg, while the hearse versions get 12/16 mpg-not that you'll need to care.

2010 2011 New Mercedes E500 Coupe: New Coupe, New Name
Mercedes is taking the world by storm by introducing a line of E class coupes. No one saw this coming as we had signed non-aggression pacts with several countries.
Mercedes is known for efficiency. That's right, we said efficiency. If you didn't know this you need to read our press release.
Our coefficient of drag is 0.24, which is lower than a Ford Probe. We will offer two 4-cylinder engines (for a total of 8 cylinders) and our anti-hoon mechanism we proudly call AGILITY CONTROL.The company's diesel offerings include the CDI four-cylinder turbodiesel engine offering 204 HP and 368 lb.-ft of torque found in the E 250 CDI Coupe; and the turbodiesel V6 with 231 HP and nearly 400 lb-ft of torque found in the E 350 CDI Coupe. These two engines combine for 53.3 and 41.5 MPG, respectively on the NFDC scale.
Two of the gas options are also high-performing in the efficiency standard: the E250 CGI direct-injection fourbanger and the E350 CGI direct-injection six. These engines pump out 204 HP and 292 HP, resepctively, with combined NFDC mileage of 32.5 and 40.3 MPG, respectively.
Topping off the engines, and the models, is the classic E 500 Coupe, which gets the company's powerful 388 HP V8, though this, too, returns a bearable 25.9 MPG combined.
All models will be offered in either SE or Sport trim when they go on sale this June.
We have a pop-up bonnet so when Lindsay Lohan takes out a paparazzi after snorting half the world's supply of coke he doesn't get stuck under the tires.
We designed our rear wing to look like one of the cars people liked. The coupe is also exactly the same as the saloon, but different.
We have spiffy seats that make Ford jealous.
There is a 4-cylinder diesel engine available which has the in-house code name "Prius Killer" and produces 204 hp and 500 Nm and gets over 53 mpg. Take that Toyota.
We have another diesel engine and 2 gas engines that you don't care about. What you really want is the V8 producing 388 hp and 530 Nm. It still gets 25.9 mpg. See, we are green!
We have a slew of safety systems so you don't have to pay attention to the road. We know you really need to talk to your college roommate and text your booty call while driving. We make this easier through our dash-mounted infotainment system, an automotive first.
Finally, for those of you who want to look like a douche, you can add a bunch of AMG body cladding

2010 2011 New Holden Announces New Compact Car for 2010 World Auto News
By kleo.
GM’s Australian brand Holden has announced plans to build a new small car based on the Delta platform that is also underpins the Chevrolet Cruze and the upcoming 2010 Opel Astra. Unlike traditional Holden’s the new car will be front wheel drive and feature new technologies to increase fuel economy. The new car will be available in both sedan and hatchback body styles when it goes into production in the summer of 2010 at Holden’s Elizabeth manufacturing facility in South Australia. Much of the car’s design and engineering will be done at Holden’s Port Melbourne headquarters in Victoria, ensuring that the resulting production model will have a unique appearance that was built specially for the Australian market.
Powertrain options will include a variety of four-cylinder petrol engines with direct injection and at least one diesel. Engineers are currently looking into the possibility of offering the new car with start/stop technology and the ability to use alternative fuels such as E85, LPG and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
Press Release:
GM Holden will build an all-new small car in Australia alongside the country’s best-selling Commodorerange.
The second carline will start in the third quarter of 2010 with support from the Federal and South Australian Governments.
The vehicle will be based on General Motors’ global Delta small car platform and feature new technologies to increase fuel efficiency and reduce greenhouse emissions.
The new front-wheel-drive vehicle will be built as a sedan and hatch at GM Holden’s Elizabeth manufacturing facility in South Australia. Design and engineering work will take place at the company’s headquarters in Port Melbourne, Victoria.
Start-stop hybrid technology and capacity to run on alternative fuels such as E85, diesel, LPG and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) are all being considered for the vehicle’s development.
It will be GM Holden’s first locally produced car beyond its current range of larger vehicles since the Asian economic crisis ended Vectra production in 1998.
The program will require 500 to 600 existing employees at Elizabeth and is estimated to provide 500 to 600 local supplier positions.
GM Holden Chairman and Managing Director, Mark Reuss said the announcement provided opportunity to take a leading role in developing alternative fuel and fuel saving technologies in Australia for Australians.
Mr Reuss said the program would be a major contributor to the economy, generating an estimated $70 million to $80 million in wages and $30 million in research and development.
“Together with Government, we are extending the scope and consumer appeal of our local manufacturing efforts,” Mr Reuss said.
“We have been building Holden cars to suit the needs of Australian motorists for 60 years. These plans build on that tradition.
“We recognise the needs and desires of motorists are evolving with growing concern around environmental factors and shifting consumer sentiment.
“Such evolution calls for an innovative approach to complement our current offering.
“Just as our leading Commodore range will continue to undergo technological development, this new vehicle will cater for growing demand for smaller cars focussed on economy.
“We are planning for the future to produce a wider range of cars in Australia to cater for a variety of driving needs.”
Flexible manufacturing infrastructure will be introduced to the Elizabeth plant to make it capable of producing a series of GM global vehicles in years to come.
It also provides opportunity to develop an export program for the vehicle, particularly to other right hand drive markets around the world.
Mr Reuss paid tribute to the Federal and South Australian Governments for their ongoing commitment to the Australian automotive industry.
“The Rudd Government’s Green Car Innovation Fund has provided opportunity to turn our plans into reality,” Mr Reuss said.
“This announcement complements the vision we share with the Government of reducing Australia’s dependence on foreign oil and making motoring better for the environment.
“It demonstrates commitment to an Australian automotive industry which extends beyond manufacturing at GM Holden to thousands of suppliers and dealers across the country.
“That demonstration was clearly seen by our parent company in its decision to support this program.
“The support of the Federal and South Australian Governments in securing this program recognises the fundamental role which automotive manufacturing makes to national and state economies.
“By working together, we have ensured GM Holden will continue to make a major contribution to the nation’s economy for many years to come.”
GM Group Vice President and Asia Pacific President, Nick Reilly, today added his support to the program as proof of GM’s capacity to innovate across the region.
“This announcement recognises the ability of GM, GM Holden and the Australian automotive industry to see the future and move in the right direction,” Mr Reilly said.
“This program simply would not have occurred without such partnerships.
“Producing this vehicle will continue Australia’s proud history of innovation as part of the GM group’s broader commitment to energy diversity.
“I thank the Australian Federal Government and Government of South Australia for their commitment to manufacturing in the Asia Pacific region.”
About the vehicle
The new small, front-wheel-drive, four-cylinder vehicle to be built by GM Holden at Elizabeth will be based on General Motors’ global Delta small car architecture.
Other examples of the architecture will include the next generation Chevrolet Cruze and Opel, Vauxhall and Saturn Astra.
The architecture was primarily developed by GM Europe in Russelsheim, Germany for GM markets around the world.
Local design and engineering work on the Australian vehicle will take place at GM Holden’s Port Melbourne headquarters in Victoria.
Direct injected petrol and diesel variants of the vehicle will be produced with GM Holden considering a range of alternative fuel or fuel saving technologies including E85, LPG, CNG and start-stop hybrid capability.
Further details about the vehicle including its nameplate, design specifications and pricing will be determined closer to the time of production.
Given the competitiveness of the small car segment, key decisions will be made to ensure the first Australian-made small car choice for many years will be a compelling one.
The vehicle will be built in the south bodyshop of the Elizabeth facility, which was previously used for the Vectra assembly in the late 1990

2010 2011 New Hyundai Azera User Reviews and Specificaion
The 2010 Azera is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in two trims, the GLS and the Limited. We love the car - the auto temperature controls were something I didn't even think I'd use, but it's been wonderful to set it and not have to fiddle with adjusting it again. I like the looks, and interior design, and it handles really nicely. The electronic stability control is wonderful! I don't think I'll ever buy a car without that again
Upon read more introduction, the GLS is equipped with a standard 3.3-liter, V6, 234-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. The Limited is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter, V6, 263-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. This is my family car so we've put a lot of miles on it since Dec. 2006. The only complaints I had about this car is what I have in the cons and they were replaced free of charge. Gas milage isn't the best in the city, but is really nice on the highway and if you are tall and have a tall wife and kids this is a great car and the trunk is enormous
Pros
Good performance, decent mileage
Cons
rough, noisy ride for a lux car, weird transmission shifting.

2010 2011 New Ford Shelby GT500 plays its new aluminum soundtrack
A special edition Mustang without any fake scoops, chrome wheels, or something covering up the rear quarter windows - did hell just freeze over? It's like they actually let someone with taste design it.
I'm a euro-car snob (well, let's be honest, poser), but I'm really impressed by this. First Mustang other than the Giugiaro concept that I'd actually desire to have.
You've no doubt read by now everything we've had to say about the 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 with its new aluminum engine. But what does it sound like? Glad you asked. We've got two clips of B-roll after the jump showing both the GT500 coupe and convertible out running on what appears to be a frigid Michigan afternoon (feel sorry for the guy driving the drop top). Fortunately, lots of time is spent mashing both their throttles so we can hear that new 5.4-liter supercharged aluminum engine howl. Question: Can a car look lighter? If so, the GT500 definitely does, especially at WOT as the car transfers its weight to the rear wheels with haste and boogies off. Follow the jump and twist the dial to 11 before you hit play.
Oh, sweet, sweet, sweet! I am not a Mustang fan, but I LOVE this car - the way it looks, the way it sounds...it's just pure sex. If they will keep the price in check, I may have myself a sweet new ride!! Nice!
2010 2011 New Ford Flex Reviews and Specs
Introduction
The Flex is Ford’s new full-size crossover, which delivers unique styling with a wide, low stance and is characterized by signature side grooves, an all-black greenhouse and a distinctive roof painted in either White Suede or Brilliant Silver. Since Ford has dropped the minivan from the lineup, the Flex is a new alternative to full-size SUVs, offering seating for up to seven occupants and flexible cargo capability. The 2010 Ford Flex will offer an available 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6, the first gasoline direct-injection twin-turbocharged engine produced in North America. Producing 355 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque over a broad rpm range, the EcoBoost delivers the power of a V8 with the fuel efficiency of a V6, Ford says. The EcoBoost requires all-wheel drive and will be offered on the SEL and Limited trim levels of the 2010 Flex.quick, hitting 60 in 8.4 seconds, and although it handles relatively well, it isn't terribly thrilling to toss around, due to numb steering and a base curb weight that tops 4800 pounds in all-wheel-drive guise. The Flex EcoBoost, available only with all-wheel drive, adds roughly another 200 pounds. But with 355 hp at 5700 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque available from 1500 all the way to 5250 rpm — advantages of 93 hp and 102 lb-ft over the naturally aspirated Flex — it feels much, much

We didn't have a chance to strap test equipment to the Flex on our initial drive in mile-high Boulder, Colorado, but Ford claims a 0-to-60 time of 6.8 seconds. Our recent test of the Lincoln MKT, which shares the Flex's platform and EcoBoost powertrain, resulted in a 0-to-60 figure of 6.1 seconds, so we think Ford may be sandbagging a bit.
The blown engine is complemented by the same six-speed automatic transmission found in the standard Flex, only it's enhanced with an overdrive lockout mode with hill descent control, as well as a true manual shift mode. Self-shifting is done via steering-wheel paddles shaped exactly like those on a BMW 3-series, a surprisingly sporty touch for a Brady-grade family hauler. (It's too bad about the cheap black plastic in which they're rendered.) Speaking of grades, the overdrive lockout mode's hill descent control automatically downshifts into an appropriate gear for engine braking when the shifter is set in "M" and the brake is held for a half-second or so.
The hill-descent control works well even while pulling a 2500-pound trailer, which the Flex did with incredible ease at the 7000-plus-foot altitudes we experienced in Colorado. As a forced-induction motor, the EcoBoost V-6 is innately thin-air friendly, which helps explain — but in no way tarnishes — the fact that the Flex EcoBoost proved more adept at light towing than the Chevy Suburban, Toyota Sequoia, and GMC Acadia that Ford brought along for comparison.
But the story of the Flex EcoBoost is not merely one of flexing muscle. The suspension is revised with stiffer springs and revised dampers, which serve to lower the vehicle by 0.4 inch and deliver a nice, taut ride that remains delightfully free of harshness. Roadholding was impressive as we hustled through mountain passes. We did notice a bit of a low rumble emanating from the rear of the vehicle during high-speed cruising, however, as well as a bit of wind noise from the A-pillars — no doubt a byproduct of the tall windshield, which is also responsible for ending many a bug's life (in a splat, not even a smear).

Road Test Review: 2010 2011 New Ford F-150 SVT Raptor
That is a really awesome truck, but who in their right mind would buy one before the 6.2L is introduced?people who have never driven it don't have a clue about how good the 5.4 propels this truck. The traction control has to be turned OFF on it already. The only place the 6.2 will truly be able to stretch it's legs is on clean dry pavement where it can hook up. If Raptor owners wanted a pavement queen, they'd buy a used SRT10. The 5.4 coupled with the awesome 6 speed is completely adequate for the Raptor. THe 6.2 will be icing on the cake, but those 5.4 owners will have been enjoying their Raptors for almost a half a year before those wanting 6.2s ever touch the steering wheel of theirs. The difference isn't going to be that astounding
Some of the most fun we had was trying to get the Raptor sideways. As much as we gripe about wanting more power from the 5.4-liter V-8 in the F-150, in the Raptor it lets you tail-slide with precision instead of overpowering the truck if you’re accidentally too strong with the throttle. You simply angle the wheel, hit the throttle and enjoy the tail-slide. In flat stretches, you can really let the Raptor rip and drift through the bends. The grippy 315/70R17 BF Goodrich tires and wide stance (about 6.5-inches wider than a standard F-150) add to the stability. Body control is excellent. The F-150’s weight played against it a bit as it sunk into sticky mud, but the truck’ never let us down when we needed extra power to scoot out of a slick situation.
Though it wasn’t as dramatic as power sliding in a wash, we played with the Raptor’s Hill Descent Control. Several times we let the truck crawl its way down some very steep hills. The HDC walks the truck by modulating the antilock braking system automatically so you can keep your foot off the brake and simply steer the truck in the proper direction. The Raptor’s HDC is the quietest we’ve experienced. The ABS modulations were smooth and unobtrusive. Once, the Raptor started to slide a bit going downhill because of the slick mud, but it quickly regained its footing as the tires bit into more solid dirt.
Each time we started crawling the truck down the grades, a small group of spectators and passing dirt bikers stopped to watch, and each time we gave what was probably a less dramatic show then they thought they’d see.

2010 2011New Toyota Prius 2010 : Reviews of the braking issue
The 2010 Prius is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in 4 trims, ranging from the Prius II to the... read more Prius V. The Prius is a very nice car, that just happens to get 50 miles to the gallon. It would be worth the money even if it only got 30. It is also the quietest car I have ever driven. Here are just some of the extras that the Prius comes with standard; keyless entry and push-button start, heated outside rear-view mirrors, cruise control, aux-input jack, six speakers, steering wheel mounted audio & climate controls, automated climate control, driver & passenger illuminated vanity mirrors, center console storage compartment, and much more. 300,000 sold and only 117 complaints about the brakes. My Prius's brakes seem fine, and even if they weren't I know Toyota would take care of them. Funny thing is that the Ford Fusion has had the same concerns about their brakes, but for some reason the press doesn't go after them. I think this is just another example of the American media looking to bring down the top dog
Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 134-horsepower, hybrid engine that achieves 51-mpg in the city and 48-mpg on the highway. A variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
The 2010 Prius is redesigned for 2010. I find that the braking issue is definitely there. I had great issues stopping on ice esp. It feels as if you are not stopping and as if you are going forward on ice, if you hit bumps- esp with rear wheels, and it is quirky in that way.
The other side of the coin is that I had to break hard today in a parking lot when someone pulled out on me and the brakes worked very well. It is a glitch that can be fixed, and I think that the car is safe to drive. I do think that this issue needs to be addressed, and it is a wake up call to all drivers not to speed and not to tailgate one anothe

2010 Acura ZDX User Reviews and Specification
The 2010 ZDX is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sport-utility, available in 3 trims, ranging from the 6-Spd AT. to the 6-Spd AT w/Advance Package. Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 3.7-liter, V6, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2010 ZDX is all-new for 2010. 3.7L V6, 24 valves, 300 hp @ 6300 rpm 6 speed automatic transmission 16 mpg city / 23 mpg hwy .The ZDX’s exterior is deeply alluring and reconciles, finally, Acura’s new “shogun warrior” styling theme. Its long panoramic glass roof terminates in a transom window set between the ZDX’s ultra-wide, sculpted hips. The interior, though difficult to access through the rear doors, is roomy and filled with high-quality touches—loop carpet, a strut-equipped cargo-bin lid, and leather that feels like it slid off a side of Wagyu beef.
Coming to market nicely loaded—a roughly $3500 Technology package adds nav, an eight-inch display screen (a camera with rearview-mirror-integrated display is standard), and ELS audio; the Advance pack offers all that, plus stuff such as blind-spot warning and adaptive cruise for about another $2000—the ZDX will start around $44,000, sitting, pricewise, between the MDX and the RL. It will offer 15,000 or so empty-nester MDX buyers a way to stay in the Acura brand without having to resort to driving a sedan. Because that would be far too rational.

New Renault Wind Coupe Convertible CC 2010 2011Breaks Cover
Renault will introduce a new coupe-convertible at the Geneva Motor Show, and we don't mean the Megane CC. The two-seat Renault Wind, roughly the same size as the outgoing Peugeot 206CC, will join the four-seat Megane drop-top when they are introduced side-by-side next month.
Sales of the Wind could begin before the summer starts. Autocar is reporting that the Wind will be launched with the 100-horsepower 1.2-liter engine from the Twingo GT, and the 1.6-liter 133-horsepower engine from the Renaultsport Twingo. Front-end styling will be similar to the Twingo, but different. The car has a new bumper, and a recessed hood.
At 3830mm the Wind is 5mm shorter than the Peugeot 206CC, scheduled to be discontinued this year, and 207mm shorter than the 207CC. The Megane CC will likely come in around 4350mm.
It has a roof that folds to an open position in 12 seconds. The luggage compartment will remain the same size, at 270 liters, and will not be disturbed by the top. This is quite a bit larger than the Twingo hatchback.
Renault says the car will be readily available, and will be "affordable for everyone." More will be revealed about the Renault Wind and the Renaul Megane CC on March 2 in Geneva.
